TIN’s relationship with Capita Travel and Events stretches back to the company’s acquisition of the BSI and Expotel brands. Having published the BSI Big Book and The Hive magazine for BSI, TIN has continued to work with Capita Travel and Events on white papers and other content projects.
In 2016, TIN was commissioned to research and write Meetings in Travel – changing the Mindset. With meetings spend on the rise, British companies spent £2 billion more in 2014 than 2013 on face-to-face and virtual meetings. Converging travel and meetings management is nothing new, but what would the benefits be and for some companies what is stopping them from taking this approach?
This paper explored what’s happening in the market and the benefits and considerations for those considering consolidation. It also won the 2016 Meetings Supplement of the Year at the Business Travel Journalism Awards.
In 2017 TIN will be researching and writing further white papers for Capita Travel and Events.
